Sustained Growth: Career International Achieves Revenue of More Than RMB 8.5 Billion Yuan in the First Three Quarters of 2024

On the evening of October 29th, Career International (300662.SZ) released 2024 Q3 results. The company reached revenues of RMB 8.516 billion (US$1.2 billion), a year-on-year (YOY) increase of 18.77%; the net profit attributable to shareholders was RMB 135 million (US$19 million); the net profit attributable to shareholders after deducting the cost of employees’ restricted stock units and non-recurring gains and losses was RMB 122 million (US$17 million), up 6.21%YOY. Specifically, in the third quarter of 2024, the company realized revenues of RMB 2.975 billion (US$417 million), a YOY increase of 23.12%; the net profit attributable to shareholders was RMB 49 million (US$6.9 million). The company's operating income in the first three quarters has continuously increased, and its profitability has rebounded.




New Quality Leads the Upgrade of Talent Supply; Business Growth in Mainland China Shows Steady Progress

In the first three quarters of 2024, the pace of industrial upgrading in China has accelerated continuously, with new-quality productive forces developing steadily and high-quality growth advancing in depth. Under this macro background, the company’s business in mainland China demonstrates strong resilience and a steady growth momentum, with a YOY revenue increase of 27.08% in the first three quarters. During the reporting period, Career International has consistently implemented a position-focused strategy, deeply laying out in technical sequence positions represented by informatization and intelligenization such as CIO/CTO. It has aided clients in building a multi-level new quality talent supply chain, successfully recommending over 13,800 mid-to-high-end management and specialized technical talents to Chinese and international clients, which registered a YOY increment of 23.75%.


During the reporting period, the overall operating revenue from flexible staffing services witnessed a YOY growth of 20.59%. The number of registered outsourced employees exceeded 42,400, who were dispatched for more than 360,000 times by the end of the reporting period. Notably, the company has continuously expanded operations in new occupations related to digital intelligence as recently published by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, including roles such as generative artificial intelligence system operator, intelligent connected vehicle tester, intelligent manufacturing system operation and maintenance officer, wind power operation and maintenance engineer, etc. It demonstrates the company’s formidable strength in human resource allocation and management, providing solid talent support for high-quality development and digital transformation of clients.


Digital Empowerment Improves Quality and Efficiency; Ecological Platform Achieves Deep Integration

During the reporting period, the company has resolutely increased investment to perfect the HR industry ecological model of “HR Tech + HR Platform+ HR Service”, with a technological investment of nearly RMB 119 million (US$ 16.7 million) and a YOY revenue growth of 23.49% in technology services. Over the past three quarters, the company has made significant progress in internal informatization and digitalization: continuously iterating the AI Match System and CRE model, while optimizing the business leads and opportunities management of CRM system. Also, the company has achieved online daily management of large-scale outsourced employees by virtue of digital platform, further enhancing operational efficiency and service quality.


Since the beginning of 2024, HEWA, the HR industry networking platform under Career International, has completed the integration with the company’s vertical recruitment platforms, and realized a seamless connection of information and transaction flow. In September of this year, HEWA acquired the Alpha Consulting and its subsidiary platform of Hiheadhunter Online to better grow its SaaS series products. It enabled differentiated tools and products for individual consultants, small-size teams, and large-size teams respectively, enhancing HEWA’s service delivery capability in various niche industry domains. More than 10,000 job openings were delivered, with an increase of 107.71% YOY.


As of the end of the reporting period, Career International has reached over 38,100 clients in various types through vertical recruitment platforms, industrial interconnected platforms, and SaaS platforms, a YOY increase of 13.31%; it has managed recruitment positions of more than 213,900, a YOY increase of 17.73%, and has linked to over 14,800 ecological partners, a YOY increase of 19.86%.
